Transformative effect of a Humanitarian Program

An article that our CEO and patient advocate Tanya Collin-Histed has contributed to has been published.

Entitled “Transformative effect of a Humanitarian Program for individuals affected by rare diseases: building support systems and creating local expertise”, the article looks at the history, process and lasting beneficial effect of the collaborative Humanitarian Program that was set up 30 years ago. It is the longest-running charitable access program (CAP) for treatment of Lysosomal storage disorders (LSDs), providing sustainable global access to therapies for affected people, regardless of local healthcare system infrastructures.
