Who can become an IGA member?

The International Gaucher Alliance brings together organisations and individuals from around the world who share our commitment to improving the lives of people affected by Gaucher disease.

Organisational Membership

Organisational Membership is open to not-for-profit organisations that are patient-led and represent the interests of people affected by Gaucher disease. This may include Gaucher-specific patient organisations and rare disease organisations that support people living with Gaucher disease.

Organisational Members are the voting members of the IGA and play an important role in shaping the direction and governance of the organisation.

Applications for Organisational Membership are reviewed by the IGA Board of Directors. The IGA may request additional information or clarification as part of this process.

Individual Membership

Individual Membership is available to individuals who have an interest in, or connection to, Gaucher disease and who support the aims and work of the IGA.

This provides an opportunity for people to become part of the IGA community where there may not be an established patient organisation in their country, or where organisational membership is not appropriate.

Individual Members do not have voting rights within the IGA.
